URL Redirection service is included with, and requires our Premium (Paid) DNS Service

What is the URL Redirect service?
URL redirection, also called URL forwarding, is a World Wide Web technique
for making a web page (or domain) available under more than one URL address.
When a web browser attempts to open a URL that has been redirected,
a page with a different URL is opened.

On Rexx, the URL Redirect Service is the server that tells end user web
browsers where they need to go to get the correct page or domain.

How do I enter a URL Redirect?
In the DNS domain edit, add a host with one of the URL record types.
In the data field, enter the complete URL of the destination web server.
(Example: http://www-2.rexx.com as the DATA)

What is the difference between the 301 and 302 redirect types?
The 302 Redirect will be understood by the user's browser to be a temporary
redirect. If the user closes their browser and again enters the original
domain name, the browser will again ask for the new location.

The 301 Redirect is considered Permanant. The user's web browser will not
ask our server for the location again. (Unless it's cache is cleared.)
